SHELTON For the four seniors on the Barlow High volleyball team, it was a disappointing way to end what has been a remarkable four year run.
The top seeded Falcons dropped a 3 2 heartbreaker to fourth seeded East Lyme in the semifinals of the Class L state tournament on Thursday night at Shelton High.
