Our vision is to promote mental health in a positive light and to help eradicate the stigma that surrounds mental illness.
We designed our Mental Health Awareness and Wellbeing Training courses to create a culture in the workplace and community where people are able to identify, talk openly about mental health problems and seek support and guidance when it was most needed. We believe our training enables and supports people to recognise the signs of mental ill-health, listen and be non-judgemental in their approach.
Our Mental Health Awareness and Wellbeing Training courses have been developed by our Professional Mental Health Associates with over 30 years' experience of working in the mental health field supporting people of all ages with a range of mental health problems.
Professional Mental Health Associates consists of Clinical Psychologists, CQC Mental Health Specialist Advisor, Registered Mental Health Nurses, Dementia Specialists, Social workers, NVQ Assessors, Moving and Handling Trainers, Counsellors and Quality Assurance Leads.
We believe that the mental health needs of all individuals should be treated with equal importance and be openly discussed and supported in the same way people do about their physical health needs. All too often people living with mental health problems still experience stigma and discrimination, many people struggle to get the right help at the right time.
Our Mental Health Awareness and Wellbeing Training courses will help participants gain the skills they need to recognise and support their own and others' wellbeing.
All participants will receive access to our digital course material, which will include easy to understand course information and notes.
