Clinical PsychologistsOur Chartered Clinical Psychologists work across adult and children's mental health services and use their knowledge and evidence-based practice to research, design, implement, evaluate and deliver our Mental Health Awareness and other related courses. Our Clinical Psychologists also offer training and consultations as well as a number of evidenced based therapies including, Eye movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
CQC Mental Health Specialist Advisor (SpA)Our Mental Health Specialist Advisor's is a Registered Mental Health Nurse with over 30 years' experience working in Mental Health. His contribution to CQT is much the same as when he supports the Care Quality Commission, (CQC) he is fundamental to ensuring that CQT remain informed by providing credible up-to-date, clinical and professional knowledge and experience on all our courses and in areas we train and support.
Specialist Violence Reduction trainersOur Violence Reduction trainer is a Registered Mental Health nurse and has a BSc in violence reduction. He oversees the theoretical Conflict Resolution course content as well as the practical application of our Breakaway and Safe hold techniques.
Accredited Physical Intervention TrainersAll trainers have the required qualifications, level of knowledge and under-pinning values to competently deliver all elements of the new Restraint Reduction Network Training Standards.
Registered Mental Health Nurses and CliniciansWe have a number of Registered Mental Health Nurses who are specialists in subjects such as Mental Health Awareness and Wellbeing, Young Adults who self-harm, Depression, Anxiety, Building Resilience in young children, Abuse, Trauma and Neglect, Prevention of suicide, Dementia and a number of other specialist mental health fields.
NVQ AssessorsOur NVQ assessors support and assess people working towards National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs), making sure that they meet the occupational standards needed to achieve the NVQ.
Health and Safety TrainersOur Moving and Handling and First Aid Trainers, are specialists in their fields and have over 20 years' experience of in working in mental health organisations helping organisations understand how to look after their workforce safely.
Counsellors and TherapistsWe have a number of counsellors who are able to provide support through various different types of counselling. Psychodynamic Counsellors whose approach provides a broad range of therapeutic approaches. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy TherapistsThis combines Cognitive and Behavioural techniques. Clients are taught ways to change thoughts and expectations and relaxation techniques are used. It has been effective for stress-related ailments, phobias, obsessions, eating disorders and (at the same time as drug treatment) major depression.
Quality Assurance LeadOur Quality Assurance Lead ensures we continually meet our comprehensive quality assurance and CPD assessments. Ensuring we remain up to date and meet all national guidance provided by NICE, Restraint Reduction Network Training Standards, Care Quality Commission (CQC), Mental Health Act Code of Practice (2007).
